About Heading Up!

I’ve been working in the textile and clothing industry as man and boy for 25 years, since brush denim work-shirts were in fashion! 6 years ago I started Heading Up to provide a personal service to bridal shops in England; I started on a whim, not sure exactly where I was going to end up, but 6 years later I’m still here and a lot has changed. I’ve still got my van and I still spend all day on the road, but now I’m exhibiting at Harrogate twice a year, with my wife Heidi and son Zak (who many of you will have met). Also, I’m now proud of the good reputation Heading Up has with our customers and in the bridal industry.

Heading Up provides a good product at a good price and with a top personal service. I always say the best part of the job is meeting people and that’s what has helped the company grow and kept me motivated. Looking to the future, I’d love to grow the business further with new designs which will sell well for my customers. I’m always looking to try and meet new people in new shops and that’s what will make the future happen, so give me a call or an email and I’ll pop in and visit you with my great veils, tiaras and jewellery – and now bags and hats too!
